DIY Salmon Patties for Cats and Dogs Recipe
Salmon patties are a quick dinner option for your pup or feline friend. With just a few ingredients you’ll have a tasty and healthy meal that’s suitable for any picky eater. The patties may need to be cut in half if you’re cooking for small dogs and/or cats and can be refrigerated for up to two days.
1 5 oz can Wild Alaskan Salmon
1 Organic Pasture Raised Egg
1/2 cup Organic Plain Breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Sunflower Oil
Drain the liquid from the canned salmon.
In a large mixing bowl add the salmon, breadcrumbs, and egg.
Mix the ingredients together using a fork without mushing the ingredients.
Spoon out a handful of the salmon mixture and make into thin patties.
Add the sunflower oil to a large frying pan and heat on medium.
Once the oil is hot add the patties to the pan (no more than three at a time).
Flip patties over when edges have browned, about five to seven minutes.
Place cooked patties on a paper towel and allow it to cool before serving.
