15 minutes minutes
20 minutes minutes
Turmeric is popularly known as a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient for humans as well as dogs, but it is also known to treat diabetes arthritis in canines. Ideally, this treat would make for a great snack once or twice a week as too much turmeric may cause diarrhea or nausea. Feel free to refrigerate or freeze any leftover biscuits.
1 tbsp Organic Turmeric
1 tbsp All-Natural Organic Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Organic Wheat Germ
1 cup Organic Rolled Oats
1 Organic Pasture Raised Egg
3/4 cup Water
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl, blend well until the mixture is lumpy.
Scoop out small portions of the batter and roll into small to medium size balls.
Place the balls onto a non-stick baking pan or an oiled baking pan.
Once all of the batter has been rolled into balls place the pan into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown on top.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow the biscuits to cool before serving.
