Apricot muffins are a fun and nutritious snack for your pup. While apricots are not an essential fruit in your dog’s diet, the fruit actually contains a few nutrients that help prevent cancer. Serve these muffins in moderation as apricots are known to upset the digestive track if over consumed.
1/2 cup Organic Dried Apricots, chopped
1/2 cup Organic Coconut Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Organic Almond Milk
3 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1 Organic Pasture Raised Egg
2 tbsp All-Natural Peanut Butter
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl add the dried apricots, coconut flour, and baking powder, mix well.
Add the almond milk, vanilla extract, egg, and peanut butter to the mixture.
Blend the batter until it is thick and smooth. Feel free to add a teaspoon of sunflower oil to the mixture if necessary.
Pour batter into a non-stick or oiled muffin pan.
Insert the pan into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and allow muffins to cool before serving.
