Properly rinse and clean the celery stalks, pat dry with a paper towel.
On a large cutting board chop the celery into thick edible slices.
Toss the celery in the basil and set it aside.
Heat a medium to a large frying pan on medium heat and add the sunflower oil.
Place the celery into the frying pan and saute for 5 minutes.
Remove the celery from the heat and allow it to cool.
Serve.
