DIY Cheese and Tuna Bites for Cats Recipe
While you can omit sushi-grade tuna for regular tuna, sushi-grade serves as higher quality and more nutritious choice for your feline friend. It will also hold together better when baking in the oven. This dinner alternative can be covered and refrigerated for 1-2 days.
1 4-6 oz Sushi Grade Tuna Steak
1/4 cup Organic Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 tsp Unrefined Organic Coconut Oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut the tuna into large cubes, about 6 pieces.
Place the tuna on a non-stick baking sheet and insert it into the oven.
Bake the tuna for 10 minutes and remove it from the oven.
Sprinkle the cheese over the tuna and return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow the tuna to cool before serving.
