This is a hearty meal for active dogs. If your dog is high energy and loves to play or run or even competes in obstacle courses, then this high protein and calorie-dense recipe is sure to keep them going for the rest of the day.

Ingredients
2 cups Organic Long Grain Rice
2 1/2 cups Filtered Water
1 Pasture Raised Chicken Breast
2 sprigs Organic Parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add water to pot and bring to a boil. Add rice to water and lower to a simmer. Simmer covered for about 30-45 minutes until done. Note: If using a rice cooker simply follow rice cooker manufacturers instructions on cooking rice.
While rice is cooking line baking sheet with foil.
Lay chicken breast on foil and cook until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees fahrenheit. About 20 minutes.
Once chicken is done let cool.
Shred chicken by hand or using tongs and combine with rice.
Let cool to room temperature, add parsley, and serve.
